Hi, I’m Ashley, a retired dancer and retired track and cross country runner. I graduated with a Bachelors in psychology and dance. I am a triplet and we were born on Halloween, I have two of the cutest little dogs and love anything fitness related!
I have been doing CrossFit for 9 years and can’t get enough. Cindy is probably one of my favorite CrossFit wods. CrossFit has not only changed me physically but mentally in so many ways. I used to spend hours in the gym with no game plan and seeing little results. CrossFit showed me that an hour of exercise in a structured environment equates to a lot more success in less time!
I’m an Occupational Therapy Assistant and work with the elderly. I’m teaching my patients how to get out of bed and get on and off the toilet daily which really relates well to CrossFit. One of CrossFit’s foundational movements is learning to squat which helps with our activities of daily living. If someone falls I teach them how important upper body strength is to get themselves back up. Movement for all ages is very very important for longevity of life and across all life spans.
