Fall Team Nutrition Challenge
What? Team Nutrition challenge –This nutrition challenge is going to celebrate community, team work and shared suffering.
Want a reset after the summer? Want to maximize the Open? Then, this challenge is for YOU!
When? Monday, October 7 – Sunday November 10th

How will it work?
Sign up either by emailing Kerri at email@example.com OR by putting your name on the sign up sheet at the front desk. Please sign up by October 2nd. ALL Outsiders members are encouraged to participate in this challenge.
Once we have all participants registered, we will assign teams. We will have FOUR teams – Red, Blue, Purple and Black. Teams will earn their points together and will participate in Friday’s workouts in their team color.
You will receive an email with your team on Saturday, October 5th.
Kickoff meeting will be Saturday, October 5th time TBD.
Grand prize is ALL the bragging rights AND a team dinner on Outsiders and E4 Nutrition.
How will I earn points?
Focusing on fresh food that is minimally processed with emphasis on lean protein, vegetables, fruit and whole grains. Each day you will earn points for 4 servings of protein, 4 servings of vegetables and 2 servings of fruit. You will also earn points for 8 hours of sleep.
Bonus Points will be earned by:
Completing the Friday workout each week in your team color.
Completing 3 other workouts each week
Hitting PR’s in the gym
Abstaining from alcohol
Drinking 80 ounces of water and getting 8 hours of sleep each night
Will I have to track my food?
Yes. We will be using The My Fitness Pal app to track our food, calories and macronutrients each day. You will not have to do this for all 5 weeks of the challenge, but it will be a way to earn points for the first 3 weeks of the challenge.
Part of this challenge will include individual coaching with a certified nutrition coach from E4 Nutrition who will help you create a calorie and macro prescription designed specifically for you and your goals.
Are any foods off limits?
No. You can eat anything you want but only lean proteins, vegetables, fruit and whole grains will earn you points.
You will also have an opportunity to earn bonus points each day for eating ONLY foods that contain less than 5 ingredients.
What if I have questions during the challenge?
There will be a kickoff meeting on Saturday, October 5th and individual intake sessions with an E4 coach during the first two weeks of the challenge. There will be a private Facebook group created for challenge members to share recipes, prep tips, inspiration and ask questions. Coach from E4 will be moderating this group. There will also be two in person team check ins during the challenge where more individualized questions can be answered.
How much does it cost?
The challenge is $125/person for 5 weeks of team and individual coaching.
Can my friend or family member who is not a member of Outsiders participate?

This challenge is for EVERYONE. It is a great way to meet some new people and challenge yourself both inside and outside of the gym. Let’s do this!
