Movement and activity have always been a part of my life. I spent my childhood and teens dancing at a pre-professional level. I love the energy of performing, the creativity of choreography, and the discipline of understanding movement. Dance provided me with a strong foundation in body mechanics and spacial awareness.
When my mother so keenly introduced me to CrossFit after college, I was amazed that it can provide that same foundation! I love that CrossFit can be scaled to any age and to any ability. I enjoy applying creativity to programming workouts for our amazing kids and watching them grow in their understanding of their body and safe, healthy movement.
As a professional in the health care industry, I see firsthand what an unhealthy lifestyle can do to a persons longevity, family, and financial future. The skills and values that CrossFit develops inherently fend off the unhealthy lifestyle and provide the foundation for a well-connected, productive life.
